physiotherapy for Dogs, cats & horses.

Who We are.
I’m Cordelia. I have always loved and shared my life with animals. After many years of working with stray and rescue animals, I decided to invest even more in their welfare. Thus my journey to veterinary physiotherapy began.
I enrolled at the Royal Agricultural University for their degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy: three years of academic study and clinical practice mentored by established vet physiotherapists in the UK. I graduated as a certified Veterinary Physiotherapist with a First Class Honours degree.
Now, with my knowledge and understanding of animals' anatomy, physiology and pathologies, I aim to help those in my care to feel relief from pain and improve their quality of life overall.
Having in mind especially all the animals that prefer not to be moved, such as cats, senior dogs or horses, I offer home visits, bringing my expertise directly to my clients, ensuring that they receive the best care possible in the comfort of their environment.

Benefits of Veterinary Physiotherapy.
Veterinary physiotherapy, also known as animal physical therapy, focuses on using non-invasive techniques to reduce pain and improve the mobility, function and overall well-being of animals. My goal as a vet physiotherapist is to improve animal welfare and quality of life by helping them to recover from injuries, to accelerate their post-surgical rehabilitation, to manage pain, chronic conditions or discomfort due to age, and to improve their performance in daily activities and sports.
I wholeheartedly believe that rehabilitation is a collaborative effort between the animal's guardian, the veterinarian, physiotherapist and other members of the multidisciplinary team such as the nutritionist, trainer, behaviourist and, for horses, saddle-fitter, farrier and dentist. For my part, to ensure the best results, I work closely with referring veterinarians to develop customised treatment plans.
Each physio session is tailored to meet the needs of the respective animal, be it a family pet or a high-level competitive athlete. I care for animals with neurological or orthopaedic pathologies, degenerative conditions, amputees, and animals both pre- and post-surgery. Combining the latest scientific evidence with a compassionate approach, I deliver effective, personalized care to every animal I treat.
Treatments may include a range of techniques such as:
Manual therapy
Therapeutic exercise
Kinesiology taping
Electrophysical agents including low-level laser and pulsed electronic field therapy
The benefits of veterinary physiotherapy are numerous. Not only can it reduce pain and increase an animal's mobility, it can also help to prevent future injuries and improve overall function, fitness and quality of life. Whether you have a dog with osteoarthritis, a cat with a spinal injury, or a horse with a tendinopathy, I can help. And for animals that are fit and healthy, we can schedule maintenance massage treatments to keep them in top form: supple and mobile!
I'm committed to providing the highest level of care to every animal and their guardian.
Thank you for considering my veterinary physiotherapy services. I look forward to working with you and your beloved animal to achieve optimal health and wellness.
