Led light therapy.

LED Light Therapy uses light-emitting diodes to generate light energy. By delivering therapeutic wavelengths of light to targeted areas, it can stimulate cellular activity and accelerate tissue repair. With a broader optical spectrum than lasers, LEDs can irradiate a large treatment area. Low powered and highly reliable, LED devices can also be safely and effectively prescribed for home use.

LED light therapy can be effective for a variety of conditions, including:

  • Wound healing (including non-healing wounds)

  • Aiding post-operative recovery

  • Alleviating post-operative pain and oedema

  • Relieving chronic pain and inflammation

Low-level Laser Therapy.

Low-level laser therapy is an effective and non-invasive treatment that uses light at therapeutic doses to accelerate healing and relieve pain. Laser light is monochromatic, coherent and collimated, meaning that the beam of light can be focused into, reach and stimulate the cells in specific treatment areas with minimal scatter and deeper reach. Laser therapy has been shown effective in treating conditions including:

  • Open wounds and burns

  • Tendon and ligament injuries

  • Spinal pathologies

  • Post-operative pain

  • Chronic pain and inflammation (including osteoarthritic joint pain)

  • Nerve regeneration

  • Muscle trigger point relief

  • Laminitis

Manual therapies.

Manual therapies include a range of hands-on techniques including massage, joint mobilization, myofascial release and stretching. The benefits can include:

  • Pain relief

  • Easing muscle tension and spasms

  • Maintaining or increasing joint range of motion

  • Increasing circulation and lymphatic drainage

Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy.

Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF) is a non-invasive therapy that uses electromagnetic waves to induce small electric changes in the target tissues, leading to a decrease in pain and inflammation, and faster, more efficient healing. Scientific studies have shown positive effects of PEMF on the following:

  • Relief of chronic pain and inflammation (osteoarthritis and joint pain)

  • Fractures and bone healing

  • Soft tissue injuries and inflammation reduction

  • Post-operative pain management

  • Wound healing

Exercise prescription.

Exercise prescription involves creating an individual exercise program tailored to your animal’s needs to help improve strength, mobility, and overall fitness. It can be used for:

  • Pre-surgery prehabilitation

  • Post-surgery rehabilitation

  • Achieving/maintaining peak condition in animal athletes

  • Improving quality of life and lifespan

  • Obesity and weight management

  • Cardiovascular health

Fascial Release.

The Fascial Edge Tool is designed to follow the contours of the body to release tight, taut or restricted tissues. It can be used superficially to glide over the fascia and superficial muscles or for deeper tissue relief. Always used in conjunction with manual therapy, palpation, massage and stretching techniques, the Fascial Edge tool can:

  • Reduce excess muscle tone

  • Relieve fibrosis and adhesions

  • Release trigger points

  • Restore suppleness and mobility to restricted soft tissues

  • Stimulate acupressure points

  • Activate mechanoreceptors and improve proprioception
